Although this website is largely my own work I have had a lot of 'help' putting it together. The following is mostly a list of resources that I have tapped into or things that I have just found interesting.

Programming
Flash 5 ActionScript for Fun and Games by Gary Rosenzweig (QUE). This is a great book to start learning about flash games programming and comes with lots of source code - some of my activities were adapted from games in this book.
Flash 5 Cartoons and Games
by Turner, Robertson and Bazley (Coriolis)
Flash 5 Studio by Bhangal, Dawes and Odendaal (Friends of Ed)
ActionScript, The Definitive Guide by Colin Moock (O'Reilly)

And when these couldn't provide the answers I have found the actionscript forums at www.actionscript.org an enormous help.

Website Design
The Non-Designer's Web Book by Robin Williams and John Tollett
Website Design Workshop by Robin Williams
The Non-Designer's Design Book by Robin Williams

Artwork
To speed up development I initally concentrated on learning actionscript and borrowed required artwork from other sources; mostly colouring pages on the internet which I traced using my Wacom graphics tablet. As I do not wish to breach copyright, I have since largely replaced everything with my own work but there are some borrowed examples still remaining:

clipart in Spellathon is from the microsoft website
http://coloringbookfun.com/ Some of my christmas images were traced from here.

Much of my own 'artwork' is based on pictures in the following books:

How to Draw 101 Animals
How to Draw 101 Funny People
How to Draw 101 Things That Go all designed and illustrated by Dan Green (Top That! Publishing)
