Trading Cards

The following MS Word documents contain tables with trading card sized cells (9cm by 6.5cm). To save the documents to your hard disk right-click on the link and choose 'save target as'. To 'laminate' the cards see details below.

I bought a whole load of these game and trading card pages in 'The Works' a few years ago. I have found all sorts of uses for them. Each A4 sized page has nine pockets which hold standard sized trading cards (9cm by 6.5 cm). There are numerous companies selling similar pages and you can usually find them on ebay.

They can be used as they were intended to make up pages to be placed in a standard ring binder. But the most use I have had from them is by cutting each page along the seams to create nine individual pockets. These pockets are great for 'laminating' your own game cards which are robust and shuffle well. You can make double sided cards and they are reusable. You don't have to use card either, as they are stiff enough without.

To make your own cards (possible ICT club project) use the blank template provided. Import images into each cell of the table and add some text. Print and cut along the borders. Place each card into a pocket.
